Any info on this lap and if it's legitimate?

I read the link. Seems so. All the Lexus crew always talk about it on my travels.

Oh dang. Gotta say though, for 75k you should expect a significant difference to the normal LFA.

Nah, the changes from memory were suspension and geometries and I believe different wheels and tyres. 10hp more and a little weight loss. Extra down force. It won't bring huge differences. It wasn't an "LT" program really.

And that somehow scratched 24 seconds off the old time? A little sussy if you ask me. It was slower than the Gallardo 570 on the Hockenheim too

Oh she's spanked all kind of cars. I've just come off an old Sport Auto test. Same thing. We forget we the with the passage of time. The upgrades will have included tyres too. And the driver from memory in this particular one was a professional, apparently as opposed to the first attempt.

the Hochenheim lap was horible, it got beat by a c6 zr1 , and many older cars like the Maserati MC 12 corsa, Mosler MT 900 GTR and the Carrera GT

Sounds very Japanese honestly. Make one good lap, and never show it to the public again unless you have 500k to spare.

LOL!, it sounds English you mean? The McLaren 720S was a magazine lap and the McLaren P1 never released its time and the Mclaren Senna never even tried?

Anyway it only needs one lap for a quick time or record although I'm sure there were many of them. I'll eventually look into that.

They did the same with the R34 Nismo at Tsukuba and the R33 on the Nürb. Laptimes that will and can't be replicated by anyone despite being most definitely fake.

yeah, you're completely right. probably some unfair tires or tunes, but 7:14.64 is faster than the mk6 camaro zl1 1le package, which is way too suspicious to me.

I'm going to need to find a reference source before confirming the validity of this lap, I just logged on a minute ago, sheesh.
