@fastestlaps did you receive the email with the Car and Driver article comparison test of Panamera S versus rivals?

You have not approved me access to that file in Google Drive...

I have some Area 51 files. Alien's and shit. I'll email them at some point.

Just make sure you use ProtonMail, otherwise NSA will intercept them. 😜

Were you able to access the article? Sorry about that, I am not very good with computers.

User avatar

Please add 0-60 mph 4.6 seconds. Reference: Car and Driver Comparison test, March 2010 issue. I sent a copy of the article via email.

13.5 seconds is pretty good for a car of that size

I now have a copy of the March 2010 Car and Driver comparison test including the Panamera S. The Panamera S does 0-30 1.8 seconds, 0-60 mph 4.6 seconds, 0-100 mph 11.2, and 0-150 mph 30.2 seconds. The 1/4 mile 13.2 at 109 mph. I have it downloaded as well, so I sent it to info@fastestlaps.com.

I posted a couple of dealership photos of our Panamera S. When we go somewhere scenic, I will post better photos.

Thank you for your clarification, 07CorvetteZ51.
By the way, on a completely different subject, did anyone here see an aurora on Friday night? My wife are buzzing about it.
But never mind if you didn't, I am looking forward to seeing my first 2025 Panamera very soon.

Very best regards to all from Flt158

So the Panamera in this video reached 249 kilometres per hour. That's 154.7 miles per hour. But I don't now which Panamera it was.
Was it an S model?

Safe driving from Flt158.

"Unfortunately, about the only option not tacked onto our test car was the $1320 Sport Chrono package, which includes launch control. Even without it, the Panamera was plenty quick: just a tick off the Quattroporte’s 0-to-60-mph sprint and quarter-mile mark, at 4.6 and 13.2 seconds, respectively."

Car and Driver "The 4.8-liter will stick your Skittles deep into the folds of the leather seats, turning in a 0-to-60-mph time of 4.7 seconds and tearing through the quarter-mile in 13.3 at 107 mph."

I saw this car on the road today, and it was a pleasant experience. The car is huge and intimidating. Scary. But somehow it looks like a lowered Cheyenne. Great car, anyhow.

User avatar

Quarter mile of 13.653 as tested in BM 03/2010

n isnt there a Panamera with a 300bhp v6 or v8?

User avatar

Anonymous  16y ago

Not really any faster if the Turbo beats it by .6s at 1mph.

I have deleted the laptime... the video was cut much to often it was no real time attack it was a demonstration run with a fully loaded car with passengers..

User avatar

w0o0dy  16y ago

i added the time but it wouldn't suprise me if someone would post a better time with this car someday. The lap was clocked off the video so i could be a few tenths off and the lap was driven with 2 passengers and camera's on board. The driver is apperantly quit a famous Porsche racedriver, but i haven't heard of the man. So don't take it too hard... The panamera wasn't meant for the track and it might do better someday.
