6 Honda NSX "snapchats" and "instagrams" its way around Top Gear track in 1 minute 17.6 seconds

Cover for Honda NSX "snapchats" and "instagrams" its way around Top Gear track in 1 minute 17.6 seconds

"The brakes aren't connected to anything. Much like the youth today, they only communicate virtually. Basically, the NSX brakes by snapchatting and it does its steering by Instagram..." - Chris Harris.

Imagine how great Top Gear would be if it only consisted of Chris Harris car reviews - no guests, no crazy transcontinental travel challenges - just car reviews by some real car enthusiasts. As long as there is at least one in the Top Gear cast, I will keep watching.

The Top Gear laptime of 1:17.6 is first meaningful track benchmark for the new NSX. Weather and track conditions were good and this laptime verifies that NSX is at least as fast as Nissan GT-R. With clever torque vectoring all wheel drive and Hondas reputation on the line, you would expect nothing less.

Agreed, What made the original so loved isn't present in the new one, But it's a new generation wuth new people experiencing new things so it's understandable, But other then a V6 and connected headlights, there's nothing NSX about it, Either way I'm a fan

The first generation of the NSX is one of the most loved Japanese cars ever made because it is the original Japanese sports car and decent rival to many supercars of that era. A successor has been in the works since 2007, but the project has been delayed a few times due to Honda’s problems with development.

Aston Martin RedBull does not have a final name yet. And obviously no specs. So I think we should wait until at least the name gets announced before we add it.

It's not slow for sure. It'll be the most fuel efficient supercar in the world. And hopefully, if driven like an everyday supercar, we'll see these cars drop in price on the used market, and then mere mortals can snatch one up.
