All commerce in entire world runs on diesel. Everything runs on diesel, except for half (if your in Europe) or majority (if in US) of passenger cars. Which is fraction of total CO2 production.

Besides, Lamborghini has nothing to do with dieselgate. I think we can all agree with that.

American diesel trucks produce WAY more bad NOx air than all the diesel cars VW produce. And they aren't even taxed as gas guzzlers because mothers going to the grocery store and kids play group is considered commercial usage.

And that claim about toxic fumes travelling across from Germany, that is just insanity. None of the "black stuff" that comes out of diesel exhaust pipe travels more than 50 meters. What goes up into atmosphere is the same stuff that comes out of petrol cars.

Even if the street version does Nordschleife 7:00 flat that's crazy fast. Porsche and BMW are German and very straightforward in their laptimes and performance numbers.
