Roll cage is optional in many countries but isn't available in the US.

For cars headed to the US, the mounting points for the cage are welded over so ordering the OEM part and installing it later isn't easily done. (based on the previous GT3)

The big issue with Honda record was not the rollcage - it was the "pre-production" status and arbitrary weight savings to compensate for the rollcage.

at the northloop only one rule counts.... it has to be road leagal in Germany (after Brexit no more track day toys from UK are allowed to drive on European soil because they dont fit EU regulations... at the moment the rule say if legal in one country it is leagal all over in Europe... this will end in 1.5years
