Well considering it did a 7:59 round the Ring for the 90's, thats not slow. and if 0-60mph is done in 5.0s, 0-100kmh (62mph) should be about 5.3s or so. but than again, i really couldnt care, and BR, dont you own a skline? u should know if you do, but again, couldnt care less bout this car, just stating a comment.

I'm sure the purpose of this site was not to create keyboard wars but to share knowledge and passion we have about cars. I am no fan of japcrap but if its incorrect then its gotta be corrected. If the car is capable of 0-30mph in 1.9 seconds, your saying it takes half a second to do 2mph? Mate, you clearly have no logic. Nor do you understand physics, and pardon the pun but you are a really arrogant 'prick'. It might have been the slowest to the 0-100 km/h out of the the R32-34 GTR's but it was easily one of the best around a track.

should I post the 5.4s Evo Magazine tested the Skyline R33 GT-R in a group compare between R32, R33 and R34 ..... and yes that was the R33 GT-R V-spec they tested with 5.4s 0-60mph...and it was by far the slowest of all GT-R´s nearly a full second slower 0-60 than the R34 GT-R V-spec..

come up with real test numbers by car magazines not with internet claims were everyone can claim everything... and don´t claim my freinds car can do this and that..no one cares..

Thats great proof. Any GTR that does the quarter in less than 13.7 has a 0-62 time of under 5 seconds. Any one who owns a GTR knows that. Why...cause 13.7 for the 0-400m was widely accepted when it was released with the boost restrictor on. Launch it harder and the car does not bog down, giving you an even quicker take off. Its a sick car

no 0-100km/h time no adding to the data..btw... here we have already better time for 1/4mile and nearly the same time 0-100mph so the 0-100km/h time sounds correct.. and stays...the weight is a japanese best motoring claim from one of their videos not from the fantasy numbers of a fanboy side..

BR we don't have the time to verify every lap within a set time..... we have a tool that lists all new laps that (when we have time) we go through to check validity..... there are only 3 or 4 admins and 4000 lap times. Which new image?.... for my avatar or the R33?

Yes that is true, BUT, if wikipedia does not have some kind of proof some where, they will remove the time within 48hrs, but if proof is listed on the site somewhere that time will stay. n have you thought about putting a new image up Wads?

If you have links to reliable data we will happily update ANY cars information..... reliable means a published test from a stock car and not "my mates car does 60 in 4.8"..... the admins here are unbiased so will use any data that can be backed up as fact.

Henry the site is a Wiki so the content quality varies depending on who adds the stuff in the first place. And Yes the E46 M3 has been clocked at 4.8 to 100kph by at least two repected sources.

The greatest feat in a car like the Nissan Skyline R33 GTR is the LAUNCH, if you guys want to be haters then so be it, but one must know that without understanding the physics of things, the people on this site will never learn and unfavoured others will be…As stated before, Enzo said that there’s no difference in speed between the GTR and the Vspec but once again no one bothers to change to anything. Once again it was stated that the weight is 1530kg but no ones changes it. A question to those in charge of this site, whats the purpose of this site?? To get people into believing incorrect things? Enzo, GTR256 and a few others...WE DO NOT BELONG HERE, so please, do not waste time on a useless site ran by nothing more than a bunch of arrogant ignorant people who see us as the inferior. Surely we know what the GTR is capable of and these people don’t.

Once again, the RB26 (this is the engine of the GTR for you noobs who run this site) is capable of extremely high horsepower. Enough to destroy everything out there when modified. Now in stock form, it’s the RB26 that propels the R33 GTR to 400 meters in the 13 second bracket, but its not the top end on the GTR which helps it do that, no. But it’s the launch as the GTR’s top end is its weakness in stock form. Its very different to an engine like the Supra’s 2JZ GTE twin turbo which is known for top end performance. So by taking this into consideration, hopefully some people who have an I.Q of above two have learnt something.

For all you haters, I’ll give you guys an example. I own an R33 GTR and have easily and I mean easily have owned my brothers BMW E46 M3 SMG2 even when he used his launch control. Now go on to have look at the M3 page and read the specs. Doesn’t make sense right? So where is it that I have the advantage?? Its the launch! It’s the 0-100km! While the M3 fails to get traction within the first second or so, there I am with all four wheels engaged in a blistering take off. Oh and an M3 does 0-100km in 4.8s? ha since when? Everything about this site, is just so wrong its not funny. Oh well, this is what happens when you have a bunch of motor illiterate people trying to run a site about fastest laps and vehicles.

Thats quite strange as its not the first time i have read that. But anyway, if its a myth then it stays a myth. Oh Georg, that 0-100km/h time and weight needs to amended.
