1995 Ferrari F50

My all time favorite Ferrari and favorite car for that matter. My life's dream is to own an original Black one in crystal mint condition.

But then again i should start by restoring my Firebird. sigh.

Dude, hes right. 1, in the video it does not say they are racing. 2, the LP640, in the end of the vidoe, says its a Camera Car. 3, that is not the LP640 reving that high, that is clearly the F50, the LP640 driver Clearly did not put his foot down. and they ONLY reason the F50 is pulling away, is Because the LP640 driver ist racing him. right from the star, if they were serious, the F50 would not stand a chance. you need to anylize the video again my friend.

how weren't they really racing considering that the lambo was pressed down, (once again, the sound of the lambo indicates that) and it is clearly visible that the F50 is pulling away.

You can hear that, but they werent really racing, the F50 isnt going to pull away from the LP640, no chance if it was a real race.

But you can here the sound of the lambo, indicating that it was pressed down and that it was changing gears near rev limiter... while again the F50 was pulling away .

That video proves nothing, they werent racing at all, the LP640 was a Camera car, pointless video in comparing speeds.

Actually on the link below you can see a battle with Lambo LP640 and the way how the f50 definitely pulls away at acceleration (at the end of the movie). An this, considering that the lambo isa capable of 0-200 under 12 sec. So I believe BMI.

My book of stats has 1230 also.

Its actually 1230Kg, but you should put it FL.

It is not 1350 it is 1270 kg car.

But i like correct data not unreal performance for car who has 520PS and 1350kg....hmmm...etc. i know that find some good information about performances at this car is very difficult. Many internet sites has not informations or data are incorrect :-)...so what we doing?...we will diskussion :-))

I wonder why you hate this car so much.

If F50 from BM video was without tunning then could be reached time 12.1 or worse...And you know why?
Because 12.1s is time reached by ferrari test driver at fiorano cicruit.....I dont know why so many people trust this BM video about f50...11.1s is absolute unreality....BM lie about this car.

look at the video at the begin BM claims the power to weight ratio... 2.37kg/PS is the power to weight ratio of a stock empty F50... no one does a serious 1/4mile test with 105l (28 US gallons) fuel on board...
1l fuel weights ~0.8kg
105l = 84kg
1320kg -84kg = 1236kg
2.37kg/PS x 520PS = 1232.4kg

The F50 tested by best motoring was bone stock without any engine upgrades or weight reductions..

Any car, with a different set of wheels to it, you have to be suspiscious of the tyres, so if there not running stock, i wouldnt count it, no other mag has tested an 11.1, and bm has known to be just a little suspiscous

Modern Ferraris don't sound like that anymore. Even the 9000 RPM 458. This had a 5 valve V12 making it 60 valves (!!!) in total. That's a symphonic orchestra of automotive awesomeness! F355 and 360 had 5 valve engines too. And we all know how great they sound.

to Georg....this video i have seen before 3 years for first time...and f50 in this video must be upgrade or tunned ...because f50 be was faster than 660hp Enzo !!!
