I had a permanent 4 version and mine was able to do 0-60 in 5.99 seconds it was obviously upgraded before I bought it. I remember going up a steep hill starting at the bottom at 70MPH and still doing 55 MPH at the top, overtaking numerous cars that were crawling along going up the hill. Sadly I got rid of it in 2005 when it had no MOT and wouldn't start.

In the world of 2023 when things like E36 BMWs are rising in value (any model not just M3), this Alfa would be super cool and appreciated car. But it had to be rust free, not a UK car of course lol

It was a little faster, around 8.4 seconds.

first version of 16V boxer engine uses hotter cams which give 101KW (137 PS), soon they adopted cams with less aggressive timing for 97KW (132 PS) available also with cat for 95KW (129 PS). After 1992 when it was called Q4 it was produced only in catalyzed versions for 95 KW. Alfa 145 and 146 with 1.7 16V Engine change the injection system but retain these cams to have 129 PS.
(I am an expert on boxer engine, having many 33s and also the Permanent 4 - however mine does the 0-100 test in 8.3 seconds, maximum speed about 205 km/h)

It has 137 PS not HP! Torque is 161 Nm.

The first comment also says 137 CV (Italians also use the PS system (1kw=1.3596PS), just call it CV).

There are two version of 33 AWD. The 33 S 16V Permanent (1991-1992) without catalizator (137CV) and the 33 Permanent, and the evolution was renamed 33Q4 (1992-1994) with catalizator under USA '83 Polution Norm with 132CV. The max. speed is between 205-198km/h depending of the Magazine Test.
