Something must be wrong here, the less weight earlier 4,2 TDI A8 with 351 Hp and 800 Nm do 0-200 21,7 sec and 13,7 sec 1 mile with the same 8 speed auto gearbox... then 35 Hp and 50 Nm with more weight makes more than 1 sec in the 1/4 Mile time and 6 sec at 0-200 km/h acceleration? How?

A8 4.2 TDI competition

Great diesel engine, but, BMW managing to produce 380 from 3 liter. I hope they will keep this engine in next generation D5 A8, with more power, but it seems to be new trend to resign from big diesel engines in luxury cars. New S class and 7 series have only those small diesels.
