From the 1 mile run, if you use a stopwatcher correctly you get these numbers
0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 2.91 seconds
0-160km/h (0-100mph) in 6.41 seconds
0-200km/h (0-124mph) in 9.84 seconds
0-240km/h (0-150mph) in 14.66 seconds
1 mile in 27.48 seconds(just start timing it when he floors it and stop timing when he stops)@293.68km/h (182.48mph)

give this to MTM and they will make this even better than it already is.

why is the brake horse power per ton going down for this car. 369bhp per ton doesn't seem right

why is it that you lot keep putting in different weight figures for this car

User avatar

BR2+  8y ago

Just put the lowest weight of the car weighed as long as it's not dry weight unless it hasn't been weighed, Or maybe a feature were you put different weight types, But given the amount of cars, And a single moderator that won't be the most pleasant job

Quattroroute inventing topspeeds (with razor-sharp 3 digit precision no less), AMuS creating weights out of "thin air" - what's next? :D

The weight ambiguity (different weighing methods) is the reason why we absolutely need to show curb weight as a range between two numbers, rather than just smallest number.

User avatar

Those weight figures for R8, GT-R and Turbo S in AMuS are wrong.

The very same 911 TS testcar was tested in both Sport Auto (sister-magazine of AMuS) and AutoBild Sportscars and it weighted over 1600 kgs.
Also, the same GT-R was in a previous issue of Sport Auto, with a full-tank-weight of 1775 kg.

I don't know how AMuS 'created' those weight figures, but they are certainly wrong. For all 3 cars. :)

Change curb weight of R8 V10 Plus MkII to 1565kg.

Are they with a full tank or half tank? I've never seen a GTR weigh less than 1700kg kerb before.

User avatar

BR2+  8y ago

...They never were..

User avatar

hostboy  8y ago

Wait, "average" times aren't a thing anymore?

User avatar

BR2+  8y ago

Why would you put a slower 1/4 mile time when a faster one is already up?...

User avatar

BR2+  8y ago

I dont think thats the case, R8s range from 3400lbs to 3700lbs from various tests, Seems a bit strange, But it could be that, It is a luxury car after all-_- So its options would be a bit heavier them most, But i would have to strongly disagree with your last statement.

User avatar

saxy  8y ago

It's very possible that American versions are heavier. Which also explains how euro cars do better in Europe tracks

User avatar

brz  8y ago

can you lot stop sending different weight figures for this car
