id rather have a black series! but if ya want a tuned merc brabus is definetly the tuner to go to. i dont sugest taking it over to Asma..lol i cant wait to see what brabus will do to the Black!!

No, no, I do not say that it is necessary to allow to add any cars! I speak about standard programs of tuning. From the well-known tuning companies. Not unique cars. For example Porsche GT Street from TechArt and to that similar... Such cars are made by the big circulations, it is possible to name them almost serial.

This side is for laptimes and data sheets of street legal production cars... production cars come only from officel car producer.
To make it simple what a car producer is it has to be recive the producer status by officle responsible authority. We can argue endless were the different is... to make it easy and go around endless debat we choose that way.
Why for a simple reason... this side is about PRODUCTION CAR track perfromance. We are not interested in a Honda Civic with one million $ upgrade that can beat a Veyron... but we like to know how a production e92 M3 performce vs a production WRX STI on different race tracks all around the world tested by different magazines.

I like this page and I do not prepare to argue. I simply want, that you have thought, about these rules. You say: "It is forbidden!" Ok, ok… But why? Producer status? Who cares producer status?
People wish to know who faster: Sportec SPR-1 or Carrera GT! And you do not give the chance to them to compare. It would be pleasant to them, if such possibility was.

read the side rules accept them or leave the side and don´t bother.. simple choose for you...

If a company recive the producer status by law like RUF, BRABUS, NISMO, AMG, ALPINA, SHELBY, CALLAWAY, 9FF etc. their cars can be added.
If a company like Edo Competition has no producer status they can´t be added.

It does not matter if companys like Brabus Nismo AMG or 9FF started as tuner or if they still offer tuning products...

If you don´t like that rules build up a page with your own rules!

I do not argue that Brabus more bigger, has powerful own dealer network and bla, bla, bla... I say if I can go and buy Gemballa GTR 600 Evo and go by it on usual roads why not to allow to add here such cars? Cars modify, that they showed the best time for a circle, and you ignore them... It is not right.
What weighty reasons why here it is forbidden to add such cars?

that wrong it is a matter of fact if a company is officle a car company or not...
yes Brabus is a tuning company offering aftermarkt parts for Mercedes Smart models.. BUT they offer complet cars as well and by German KBA and US DOT they are a registered car producer with own car producer number. Brabus has joint venture with Mercedes producing togeter cars..example the smart Brabus GmbH which sits in the Brabus HQ in Bottrop. Brabus has shops in 106 nations, the different between Edo Competition and Brabus are lightyears... example Brabus has two time more employees than Nismo from Nissan...
All that matters is no personal thinking..only matter is what the law say..if it is called producer by several nations it is a producer... if not it is a tuner... and here are no tuner allowed...

I think not important how they officially registered. The essence is important. And as a matter of fact - Brabus is a tuning company, as well as Edo Competition. I consider, you should to allow add the modified cars. Simply for them it is possible to make separate sorting (Quick Filters) as it is already made as the "wheel drive" parameter.

If Brabus "a independent car producer", then why Edo Competition Porsche GT2 RS which I have added have been removed? They also replaced almost everything in this model. It is not fair.

This has more torque than a veyron!!!!!!!!!! whats even crazier is that these cars have more torque then they can actually handle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! them brabus rocket's and brabus bullits are total death machines!!!!!!!!

what's wrong with modified cars as long as they are a specific model from that tuning company? i'd like to see some hennesseys, lingenfelters, techarts, renntechs, hamanns, ac schnitzers, novitecs.....etc compared with the other cars here. i'm sure you (as in anyone) could get some stats on alot of them and put a little * by them if there are any verifiable lap times for them to show them as a company specific modified car.

Brabus is a independent car producer (and the biggest independent tuning company on earth) the reason why no Brabus car carrys a Mercedes star.

For example Mercedes has a joint venture with Brabus for the smart, both companys have founded a new company called smart-Brabus GmbH with it´s home in Bottrop the home of Brabus.

by law Brabus is car maker since mid 80 or 90´s..I always have a problem with companys like Ruf Brabus Nismo..they are called manufactor but in fact they are tuner because they don´t develop own cars (ok Ruf has started now to build its first own car)

The Rocket is only the CLS..but they use the engine in many models..

i just saw yesterday (DMax) on TV. They showed some Brabus cars and they actually said Brabus Rocket is avaible in more then one variation. Not just the CLS...
