I know cars, especially American muscle cars, what's really amazing is that the Buick has 90 less horsepower and only comes with an automatic transmission.

Ah, back when Buick made REAL cars. The 67 Riviera GS is one of my all-time favorites.

Concerning the Special, the one in Gran Turismo 4 was a heavily modified one that was supercharged and it does indeed exist. Not sure if it was ever a production car, but it's out there. Here's a picture of it...

The car was a total beast in GT4. Properly tuned, it was almost unbeatable. Sounded awesome too. ;)
