Got to love these space age names - "Ram Jet". Incidentally, 1964 was year when SR71 first few. An actual (kind of) ram jet plane. First one and last one of the type ever produced, still till this day...

I grew up in different informational sphere. Didn't watch much TV anyway when I was kid. Now I just watch too much YouTube. Which is the same and worse 🙃

Could someone explain old-school fuel injection? I've been told that the injectors were actuated by a second camshaft or something. I'm very curious how it was done back then.
