Estimated Acceleration Stats For Ferrari 288 GTO (Euro-spec without cats):
0-30 MPH: 1.4 sec
0-40 MPH: 1.9 sec
0-50 MPH: 2.4 sec
0-60 MPH: 3.2 sec (100 km/h: 3,4)
0-70 MPH: 4.1 sec
0-80 MPH: 5.0 sec
0-90 MPH: 6.2 sec
0-100 MPH: 7.6 sec
0-120 MPH: 10.9 sec (200 km/h: 11,8)
0-150 MPH: 18.6 sec (250 km/h: 20,7)
0-180 MPH: 34.7 sec (300 km/h: 40,6)
0-200 MPH: 61.9 sec
Top Speed: 199.2145 mph (320.6046 km/h)

Standing quartermile time: 3.2+7.6/(3.2+7.6)x12 = 11.65sec at 123mph.
Acceleration off the line: 9.70209 m/s2 = 0.99 G = 0.25sec rollout = 11.40sec dragstrip quartermile.

Estimated Acceleration Stats For Ferrari 288 GTO (US-spec):
0-30 MPH: 2.2 sec
0-40 MPH: 2.9 sec
0-50 MPH: 3.7 sec
0-60 MPH: 4.6 sec (100 km/h: 4,8)
0-70 MPH: 5.6 sec
0-80 MPH: 6.9 sec
0-90 MPH: 8.4 sec
0-100 MPH: 10.1 sec
0-120 MPH: 14.4 sec (200 km/h: 15,6)
0-150 MPH: 24.4 sec (250 km/h: 27,6)
0-180 MPH: 60.8 sec
Top Speed: 179.7527 mph (289.2840 km/h)

Standing quartermile time: 4.6+10.1/(4.6+10.1)x12.5 = 13.20sec at 115mph.
(Note: 12.5 factor is used instead of the typical 12.0 because the car has long gearing.)
Acceleration off the line: 6.102963 m/s2 = 0.62 G = 0.30sec rollout = 12.90sec dragstrip quartermile.

Basically 1581 kg total curb weight, including downforce but without the driver. (HPWizard). Ferrari never released curb weight for 288 GTO, but as far as dry weight goes it was 60 kg heavier than F40 (which weighed in at 1235 kg curb). Basically, 1581-1295 = 286 kg downforce; at that figure, the 288 GTO generates the least downforce of any Ferrari hypercar (448 for F40, 440 for F50, 775 for Enzo, and sadly just 360 kg for LaFerrari).

For Euro-spec 288s, replace wheel static radius (0.336) with 0.331 and driveline efficiency rating (0.85) with 1.00. Final drive ratio should also be replaced (2.77) with 3.849.

some of your acceleration times are fast compared to road tests for example your 0-200kph time of14.3 seconds is 2 seconds off auto and motorsports 16.2 for the same 0-200kph sprint other than that good reading your just alittle optimistic on the accelerationtimes compared to road tests

Pile of very interesting simulation data added. Feel free to hover your cursor over any of it and see where this 30 year old brute lands next to modern sportscars.

This data is NOT for period-correct tyres. This is for a GTO with modern tyres.

The last GTO was a present for the three times F1 world champion Niki Lauda (1975,1977,1984).

Certainly, one of best cars ever made. Charming beast. The GTO. Ah, just too pity Ferrari does not make true GTOs anymore.
