Talked to an owner of this little beauty today. I am no expert on 80s Ferraris but this car is genuinely stunning. He told me he had no overheating or fire problems in the past, and even with the mid engine layout he had little problems to maintain this car. Even the clutch could be replaced without removing entire car parts because the engine is put in differently than in the following 328 or 348.
All in all, he almost made me wanna own one. Lmao! Great guy

The Ferrari 308GTB was in a TV show called "Magnum", I remember it well. It's still a beautiful car now and I believe along with the Ferrari 288 GTO the ones amongst the first I remember.
But getting back to your comment the owner sounds like a knowledgeable enthusiast, and they are rare! It's their infectious nature that makes us desire these cars! ;)
