I don't recall this car having 130hp. That was reserved for the rs1800. Xr2i had 115PS.

Georg's whimpering pieces of evidence all come from Sport Auto, regardless of how much contradictory evidence there is available. Don't bother uploading cars from your own country either, he'll only butcher the stats to fit his own country. Basically he's a nob.

Parker's, no mention. http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=246

Those are 14" RS alloy wheels, why would they have RS wheels on an XR model?,same wheels what is on the RS1800. Only germany sold the car like that. If you wish to put the German XR2i up, you can, but why change mine?, this is not the car I put up. The only sites you put up are german ones.

then you do not try hard enough

It is a global company. Some Ford cars are designed made and sold in US, some are designed made and sold in GB, Germany etc.

I am confused. Is ford from U.S.A or U.K ? Because they have american as well as european cars.

Did Germany not have an RS1800? Is this site Biased!?
In England the XR2i had a CVH until 92 when the Zetec came out with 103bhp, the fiesta with the 128 bhp unit was called the RS1800. The XR3i came in two forms 103 bhp and 128 bhp both weirdly having the same insurance group.
Yaspaa 15y ago
Thats why I put the country down as England, because there are slight differences. Fords are my life, it's erm, I'm quite flustered.
FastestLaps 15y ago
Maybe there were differences in English and German versions. I don't know. I can't really comment on subject that I know nothing about and I won't interfere.
I think it was Georg who made these corrections to cars you submitted and I am sure he has his own trustworthy sources and when he's online he will explain why he did these changes and revert them if you're right and he's wrong.
Yaspaa 15y ago
The actual brochure has the weight of this car at 955, which I previously put, this is really annoying guys and a little upsetting.
Yaspaa 15y ago
People are going to think I have put this car up and it doesn't even exist.
There were 2 XR2i's a 1.6 cvh with 110 bhp and a 1.8 zetec with 103 bhp, no naturally aspirated Fiesta other than the RS1800 had these figures.
Yaspaa 15y ago
No XR2i has ever had 129 bhp, what are you doing???? The RS1800 had these figures.
