@ Bijan: Different test. acceleration came from 3.5 but max speed came from 3.0 ratio. I still haven't found the 4.56 ratio 1/4 mile.

Max speed with 3.5 and 4-speed was something between 141-143 mph .

@ Super8: If your car looks like this, it's a sleeper. I like big, fast cars, mechanically, they're rebels defying the laws of physics, from a scientific standpoint, something this big and heavy shouldn't be this fast.

Why the performance data is not appears?

I already drive it in city and highway. My dad not joking when he said Ford it's thirsty car. My petrol mileage is about 4 km/litre which mean around 10 miles/gallon US i city. In highway i got around 9 km/litre which mean around 22 miles/gallon US. I should collect more money to pay all the gasoline.

@ Viking : My beast is ready to go. The magazine said the truth. Even it has 427 FE, but it's not agile like Mustang. I keep the original interior and add a Eibach independent suspension front and rear and.

@Super8 very groovy! Classic cool car restored and track ready, very nice.

@ Viking : Well i'm still not driving this car cuz it's still painted in paint shop. I add a brembo brakes and Goodyear Eagle F1 to this car to make sure this thing not kill me. I want to test it in race track after it's done

@Super8 that is groovy. Your father has given you a great car. Is your petrol mileage as bad as mine? One would think that a car from model year 2011 would get decent mileage, but on a highway trip the best I can get is close to 23 mpg. In the city driving my 412 hp beast gets less than 16 mpg. Nice revving, wonderful sound, precise steering (not a lot of feel), and amazing cornering grip; but not very good fuel mileage. How is the mileage with a Galaxie 500 427 cu. in. FE big block?

@ Viking : It's very rare to see Galaxie in Japan. My father got this in Indonesia then he restored it in here and add a 427 FE crate engine

@Super8 your car is very impressive. One of my current neighbors has a Galaxie 500 here in Napa California. It certainly sounds good, but I haven't asked the owner which engine option he has in that beast. As for styling, it has a classic look. Maybe I have a certain amount of nostalgia when I look at cars from my youth, but I like your car.

My father bought me this car and make my friend taunt me "Old Man". But they doesn't know if this car got a monster 427 FE crate engine behind the hood. Here some review from 1966 magazine :
Big, smooth, and quiet
Go-power ample to astounding
Growing club support
Handsome (they lie)
Lush, sporty interiors
Many parts still in good supply
Relatively scarce (esp. with the 427 V-8) yet still cheap.
And some minuses :
Far from agile
Not "mature" collectibles yet, though fast becoming so
Require plenty of premium petrol
