@Georg yeah it certainly would be nice if Ford published an official weight. Oh well, I guess we have to find the magazine with the most reliable set of scales. Car and Driver claims to weigh each car themselves since they don\'t trust the manufacturer figures. I believe Motor Trend also does their own weighing. Road and Track tends to be unreliable on weight, possibly they publish what the manufacturer tells them, although I am not sure. I like Motor Trend for road test results, but trust the scales at Car and Driver. I probably would not trust Ford even if they gave an \"official weight\" for too much conflict of interest (they might skew the facts for marketing purposes).
