Many people unfortunately confuse the RS200 with the RS2000. They are not the same vehicle. Not even close!

My father is/was RS200 production manager Gerry Willmott. For all the naysayers, it WAS/IS a road legal production car. 200 of them were built for homologation in the group B class. I have fond memories being a passenger,, doing 180mph indicated, along the M42. They were assembled at Shenstone, near Sutton Coldfield, in the UK.

street legal version using a 1.8L twin turbo pushing the same 580hp and 400lb-ft, and they still even weigh the same...only a tiny amount of differences between this and the race version...race uses a 2.1L and 5 speed endean manual just to name 2. street legal numbers.
