I hope it at least handled well? However, I'd suppose it was pretty much fast for 1981. But, yes, unfortunately, the building quality of past Lotus was its minus. Such a nice exotic though...

I love Lotus, I wish their current adversities tuned into success...

Probally the best looking car i owned.
And definitely the worst.
Very difficult too see out of looking forwards,sideways. Gearbox dreadful. And i drive around, with foot on the floor all the time, too just be alittle ahead of other cars, performance was crap. It lasted less than 6 weeks, i returned it after the diff disingrated, over the road. Lucky i was only 30 or 40 metres from my home, and a neighbour helped me, collect the peieces that had fallen on the road. Still, it was the most beautiful car i owned.
