Aside from the name change, this was the same car as the "first" S600.

This car was featured in latest TopGear episode (also in Grand Tour couple weeks back.

After 25+ years of use and abuse it was still able to rip the rear tyres to shreds and cover the whole TopGear track with smoke. And produce 380 bhp at dyneo.

That V12 is one of the great engines of automotive history. Pagani used a variant of this engine for early Zondas.

@LJUTICA ''Genscher'' is W126.
This model W140 is called ''Slon'' which means Elephant. It's easy to figure out why it's called like that :)

We in certain parts of Europe appreciate this car very much-use to call this car "Genscher" by the last name of Germany's longest serving Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher.
It's an icon of a VIP limousine just like the rest of 600 (long) models during the history were.
A highly charismatic car.
I 90s here there was no politician,mafia boss,tycoon or anyone who should be taken seriously that didn't own this car.
If you truly mattered,you had one.
