DIN= 90% full fuel tank, all fluids
That one is used by the US, Japan and the EU save for german automakers.

German= DIN plus 68kg driver + 7kg luggage.

US curb weight EU weigt (75 kg driver or 68?)

????

What else? I need Georg! :D

The idea behind the new system is to include absolutely everything. Whatever is published in the magazine or mentioned in tv series shall be included in the database. Afterwards we can filter and show/not show whatever we consider appropriate for the website.

@FastestLaps
There was a small conversion about it:

I am slowly developing/experimenting with a new information system for fastestlaps and I have to decide on several different types of vehicle weight. Schemes like this (including an imaginary driver plus a certain amount of "luggage") don't help at all?

Can anyone list all internationally used weighing schemes/standards that are used in independent media and manufacturer tests?

yes, Audi and BMW also use it, but they mention the 68kg driver and 7kg luggage.

I can assure that most german cars here have their weight right.
At least if they're recent..

@FastestLaps
BMW and Audi also use this formation. Probably every car measured with this formation which are on sale on the German market. Probably Georg knows better.

Is Mercedes the only manufacturer using this crap formula? If we change it for these cars we might end up changing weight for hundreds more.

Ok, i really don't wanna fight for a stupid thing like this.

@FastesLaps
To my mind this weight formula is a &>#$#@}#@|`°%/=. Georg also hates this weight formula.

Sonderausstattungen und Zubehör erhöhen i. d. R. diesen Wert, wodurch sich die Nutzlast entsprechend verringert.

The 1890 kg includes a 68 kg "driver" and 7 kg "luggage"

That is reaaly ****** up... :D Who came up with weight formula like that?

User avatar

Inline 6 rules  14y ago

BTW, the mass data is not right. It's 1815 kg not 1890. The 1890 kg includes a 68 kg "driver" and 7 kg "luggage".

More information? Where? The only plus data in this page which can not be added with the "Add performance figure" option is the mass data.

User avatar

phavyarden  14y ago

Yes, i know how to add he performance figures, but it also needed more information and a picture, so i thought it would be easier to keep this and delete the other one. In the site has happened many times:
"Cls 63 AMG Performance Package,C5 Z06,etc"

@phavyarden
Those specs can be added with the "Add performance figure" option under the picture. And the admins can replace the picture with a better one. Adding this car just makes more work for the admins.

I added again, with more specs and with a better pic.
