all these mph and Nm are just to keep the debates going. In real life the situation depends on every individual car, driver, conditions and tyres

@qadhi79 I agree with you that speed governors are stupid and annoying. Clearly your vehicle should be allowed to go beyond 155 mph and on to its true top speed. I don't think you will reach 200 mph with only 550 hp however. Too much frontal area. The Porsche Panamera Turbo S has similar power and less frontal area and tops out at 190 mph. Ideally you can find a low traffic section of autobahn and check top speed with GPS. Or you can estimate the aerodynamic drag which is the primary force that must be overcome (easier and safer). The simplest equation is: drag area is equal to the coefficient of drag multiplied by the frontal area.

@Rednaz
From your link:
"Unsurprisingly, the top speed is electronically limited to 155mph and 174mph respectively when you have the optional AMG Performance Package. Without a speed limiter, this car could easily accelerate way above that and may even capable of over 200mph."
"may even capable of 200mph" [sic]
So it's just a (foolish) estimation.

The top speed is limited to 155mph but I read that it is capable to reach speeds of over 200mph.
