In Switzerland we got an official version with 180HP and 246NM, but in the vehicle ID card is written 144.9kW (197HP). It's lowered and has extra spoilers. A great car which makes a lot of fun! :-)

colt czt or ralliart average 45mpg, very low c02 for a turbo so road tax in the uk is £130 a year, mitsubishi like all japanese cars are the most reliable, cheapest hot hatch by far in the uk compared to all the rivals mention here (£13,949).

I have a stock Colt CZ-T and does 0-100kph in 7,5 sec..With a reflash it gains extra 40 hp and does 0-100kph in under 7 sec..And with a good suspension you have a perfect little car..I love to beat pricey cars and let them with an open mouth

Strange error, the CZT is the fastest car on Oschersleben. Please fix it :)

The time was input wrong. It reads 1:58:57 instead of 1:58.57.

Someone will fix it.

ITs a great little unknown car. For an extra couple of hundred quid, you can get it up to 180 bhp with an induction kit and sport cat exhaust due to the highly restrictive stock exhaust. My friend out accelerated a 2.5 litre BMW 3 series with ease. say no more. As said, for handilng, it does required lowering/ better suspension.

There is a newer version called ralliart (still with 150 ps for eu market),but with much less involving EPS,letting the car make a lap much faster than this model.

I think it looks great!

This car looks like a mini van!

prior to buying a czt i had a 1.6 vti civic which was a great little car!! (fantastic gearbox) fairly quick!!
This car is the same but a lot easier to drive quicker on straights but needs to be lowered as it sits a bit too high for me. so i will lower it one day, but for a such a little car its a great package. 147bhp 150lbft winner

If you'd rather by cheap french tat that will break in five minutes than have the clio instead. if you like having to change gear just as your getting into your stride, get a diesel. The joy of a turbo'd motor is the delivery and how easy it is to get another 50bhp. how many of you know it all's have even driven this car?! not many is my guess.

It's a good litle car, but a bit tall and the suspension is a bit soft for hard trackday driving, but very good for every day driving. If you disable ESP the car will be much faster in track.
A set os eibach will make this car a lot faster.

dude aint no mitsu heters, but this car sucks, the REALLY only good car mitsubishi makes is,..well its obvios really, the EVO, btw id smoke yah in my tiburon..lol

lol, the above comments made me laugh. you both must be mitsu-haters i guess.

i'm from belgium, and i drive a colt czt. on every quarter-mile-meeting people start to laugh when i come at the startline to begin my quarter-mile.

When i finish, all people come to my car as they cant believe this got so much power.

If you drive the czt, you get an exclusive hot hatch, as nobody buys one.

Ok, in corners, the stability isnt that good, but an uprated suspension does the trick.

But lol, the cupra tdi, clio sport, bring them on, i'll eat them :)

i have to agree with georg. Mitsubishi is even in the japanese market not very well sold. Evo's are different. But cars like Colt is not something that is very famous for being awesome :P
The closest Colt version from japan to compare with this one in here is a 1.5L Turbocharged car with these specs (113kw)154ps/6000rpm 210Nm/3500rpm and it costs exactly 12'000Euro in japan. Compared to the european price its very expensive. To be honest i think its fair if the price is always from the country where the car is made from. So Italian car (Italian price), US car (US price), Japanese car (Japanese price), German car (German price), UK Car (UK price). I dont set the rules, its just my opinion :)

1993 vs 2005 and you realy think that is amazing?
The Colt CZT recived critic in Germany for the high price! Here it cost 19,000Euro.
For only little bit more money (21k) you get a 200hp Clio Sport which is 4s faster at Hockenheim.
For the same money you recive the Seat Ibiza Cupra with 160hp TDI (2seconds faster) or 180hp 1.8T engine 2.5s faster as the Colt.. not to talk about the consuption..the Cupra TDI beat the Colt by lightyears ...
The Colt CZT is a overpriced low perfromance car.. for the same money you can get many car much better offering more power..

low cost, high performance:compared to honda civic 1.6 vtec (both cars have same power and almost identical weight) colt beats it by 5.3 sec which is something outstanding!
