i wish there were more figures for this model, like a 1/4 mile time and more lap times obviously

Best bargain ever bcoz of the fuel consumption and acceleration of an m6

I highly doubt an Evo FQ would sell well over in the USA, They dont sell particularly well over here, atleast the FQ versions, A Base Evo X will run just under £40,000 fully kitted up. But at that price range, you could buy yourself good 2nd hand markdowns, For that price, you could find yourself some very low mileage Corvettes, Brilliantly conditioned, Or even a Focus RS, or even a few Vipers, And even some really great conditioned 911s.

But if new is your thing, Under 40k is hard to beat in performance of this.

@ Mental: Yeah, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo FQ series would be a big hit in America, they're already legendary over here although none have ever been sold on American soil.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, colloquially known as the Evo,[1] is a high-performance sedan manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors. There have been ten official versions to date, and the designation of each model is most commonly a roman numeral.

Just too pity FQ-series is available only in UK and Japan...

...I actually dont think the Evo VIII MR FQ-400 was even tested in acceleration, or atleast none i know.

The VIII FQ-400 was sold here for £47,995, a Regular Evo VIII would run you £28,990, quite a big price hike, wether it was worht it or not, i cannot say, But they do do the 1/4 Mile in 12.2@116.8Mph. So if its performance your looking for an FQ is a bargain, Evos of all sorts are.

Think the fq-400 was a beast. It ran 0-60 in 3.5 long before the gtr came along and it did it with a manual!

I modeled my evo after the fq400. They sold in the uk for around 75k which was insane. I paid 27k for my evo brand new... and it doesn't take much money to get it up to 400 horses.
