Don't you want to see the new improved revolutionary modern Evo XI already?, a mighty competitor to the M4 / RS5 / C63 AMG / RC-F? I believe the Evo XI with 400 hp + improved gearbox and suspension, selling worldwide is a needed Mitsubishi's flagman, and overall would increase the popularity of the brand.

Evo XI may not come they say, That, or it will be All Electric.

They X has been out for what 5-6years? When most Evos don't go over3-4years, Its time they made a new one, Im getting tired of this one already, great car, but they need change.

And if they do build one, I hope they have 400Bhp as standard, tired of the Evo having practically the same Bhp numbers since the III, I see them a good amount here, more so then any other performance saloon, But its time for a change.

Mitsubishi is rusting. The current standard Evo is already outdated and slow. While the mightier but still outdated FQ-series is available only in UK and Japanese market in limited umbers. If Mitsubishi wants to stay competitive in the world of performance, they just need in Revolution of Evolution.

Lol, if they can put over 700 hp to car with ancient suspension like mustang, then for sure they can put like 1000hp to evo.

just because it has a great traction with its current engine, doesnt translate in having a good traction with a much more powerful engine.

I just want kill Mitsubishi company beceause they didnt put something bigger than this 2.0 engine to this car with such a good traction.

If they didnt have one, why just dont take it from another company. Evo has amazing traction, and its GT-R like. It would be super fast and it would be super car killer. And today still could be. But this engine is here for aes with no alternative... so shame.

Makes sense. The older H-pattern 6 speed manual couldn't really take the abuse. As for the semi-manual in the MR, forget about it. Might as well be porcelain.

this car is not 6spd manual , it's 5spd manual!! . And 6spd auto transmission isn't available with this version

Says who? This not even close the a Murc around a track. Just because you saw it on top gear.. that does not make it true. If you notice the FQ400 that Clarkson said was as fast as a Murc.. got murdered by the Murc when Stig posted lap times for the two cars.

Its not the size of the motor, thats meaningless, its how you use it, anycar can have a 2.0L engines with big turbos and make that much or even more power, but nobodys gonna pay 87k for an Evo, save yourself 32k and get a GT500, or 22k for a ZO6, or 2k for a GT-R, and no, not after 60mph-100kmh will this lose, its after 120mph will this Start, to fall behind, but not on a track, this is as fast, or faster, than a Murcielago round a track.

I do agree with some of you , you just can\'t compare this car to biq supercars , there just isn\'t a way . But think about it for a second. It only has 4 cylinders! Compared to most supercars it has less than half the motor size and for the type of performance you get, the evo is insanely fast. Show me any car in the price range of this and with the same factory size motor that will keep up?

Anyone who thinks this can hang with supercars is just a dumb fanboy who drives an eclipse. This is a sweet car but its a one trick pony. It will rocket off the line like a supercar thanks to AWD and then the show is over.

That being said, I would love to own one. But you are crazy if you pay Z06 money for this.

FQ does not stand for ****ing Quick, thats street slang for ppl who wanna be cooool, FQ stands for Frequently Quick. and depending on the track, this can (Somewhat keep up with it, a track like The Green Hell, this will get is ass blown out the Tarmac messing with a Murcie, but a track like Hockenheim or Tsukuba, it should be able to hang.
