It was introduced on February 1969 not 1971. Produced until 1972.

This was the first road legal production car with a 4 valves per cylinder engine. Because it has a double overhead camshaft it is also the first street legal production car with a 4 valves per cylinder DOHC engine.

Yes, it was still produced as Datsun.
In 1984 the name Datsun disappeared.
The last Datsun which was sold in Europe was the D22 in 1986.
Ooooh... Someone posted a fake a 12y ago
Georg, remove that thing, please! It's not faster than any other car in the Top Gear Track. Just a video game.

@FastestLaps
I don't want to add them, they are tuners. I just wanted to know if you like a 1971 Skyline GT-R with a tuned RB I6 engine.

You can add it if you want - it defenitely wouldn't hurt. But in future, I think we will have to adapt a policy where one car page would represent model/model range with multiple engines - no new carpages for facelifts, packages etc.
Otherwise it is becoming too difficult to manage all these different versions and combinations. It would become impossible if we allow race cars and bikes (which is what I am hoping to do).
And this site should be more focused on laptimes not car models, specs etc.

Would you like to have the second one (from 0:38 with the RB28 engine)?
