This car was tested by Paul Frere in 1972:
0-100kph - 6,6 sec
0-200kph - 26,9 sec
100-0kph - 46,3 m
1/4 mile time is obviously wrong, it must be under 15 seconds.

16.3 ¼mile is likely for US model which has high 7 0-60 and low 19 0-100 (mph).

You are absolutely right.
I've found that test. Apparently US model had less power.

Even with those kind of acceleration times the quartermile time should have been reported as way better than 16.3.

The 260 Cobra posted 4.2 to 60 and 10.8 to 100, but it had a 13.8 posted quartermile time.

C&D get 15.6 for 1965 2.0 base version.

My point is that a new-age Corolla does 16.3 with much slower 0-60 and 0-100. Not sure why a Porsche with 7.8 0-60 and 19.1 0-100 would do that. Even a Mercury Marauder posted similar times (7.5/19.7) and got 15.5.

232 kmh in 1971??? Quite an achievement...
And 26.6s 0-200 kmh, excellent, for instance Cayenne Turbo (pre-facelift) goes 26.4s which is very near.

This is the second fastest Porsche 911 Urtyp (1963-1974). The fastest is the Carrera RS 2.7.
