BR2+ - The odd thing is that Evo state that they use Blyton Outer at the back of The Knowledge.

I did not expected Radical to build a car with a roof! But I like the result!

Don't forget that is has adjustable suspension and would be set in a very low position on the photo. For road use you'd crank it up to have the legally required ground clearance.

@ Viking: It wouldn't make into the parking lot of the gas station I refuel at on Fridays, either, it's down hill until it gets to the lids of the tanks. In my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT sedan with about a 6" or 7" ground clearance , my air dam would scrape the pavement every time, my 2008 Dodge Dakota has no trouble though, with its 12" ground clearance, I just go right over it, I actually drive over stuff in the middle of the road most cars swerve to avoid.

@Shaggy LOL, it wouldn't even cross an intersection in Martinsburg WV without scraping on the crown of the road it is crossing (it happened all the time with my previous 2002 Corvette with a whopping 3.7 inches of clearance). It looks like the front splitter wouldn't last the first day here in California. We have dips between the streets and parking lots to deal with standing/flowing water since the ground doesn't soak up rain well (it is semi-desert and doesn't rain much except in the winter).

Actually, I think it could enter the 24 hours of Le Mans in the LMP-2 class "as is". I would have to look at the rules again, but I think that is the minimum weight. Being made durable enough for street use, it should hold up and be competitive at Le Mans next weekend (if someone has entered one). If the LMP-1s break or crash, we could actually see a street legal Le Mans winner! That would be cool! Just my thoughts.

I think that if they added 220 lbs of ballast, they could run it "as is" in the Daytona Prototype class in the Rolex Sports Car Series. It looks fine to me, kinda like the Riley DP racers. On the street, well it wouldn't make it up any driveways with that little ground clearance. It would need over 4 inches to clear the ramps into parking lots here in California without scraping. Cool car though, and lots of fun I am sure!

I would consider this car is not road-legal, but hell, it actually is absolutely legal!

Radical claims 0-100 in 2.8 sec and top speed 282 kph. This thing must be a track monster... I think the N'Ring laptime in.. lets say, 6:52 is very possible.
Damn, I look at this clearance, splitters and wonder, how could this car been certified as road-legal... Anyway, this is just a track-toy but nothing more.

Read an article about it, but I am not sure if it is in production...
But I think it is in production now, since the article was 9 months old.

I'm sure it goes like stink and handles like it's on rails, but my God is it ugly. And it looks like it's half an inch off the ground; that front splitter looks like it could pick up credit cards on the road. Even if it is street legal, who would want to drive something like that off the track?

the new radical, now with a top.
also available with the 3.0-litre 480bhp variant of its RP-series V8 engine, but probably not street legal then.
with 900kg the heaviest among all radicals.
still expect a nordschleife time below the 7min mark and with a price around 150.000 $ its one hell of a performance car
