Forget about the R8, this is here to stay.

i think the car even looks cheap.
those LEDs in the front do look like the cheap aftermarket LEDs every second tuned golf in germany has.

@BR2
Without extras: ca. 190.000 €. Still too much.

Some extras:

19 Zoll Wheels 5.977 €
Sport seats 4.900 €
Sport chassis 5.980 €
Carbon underbody 8.760 €
air conditioning 2.951 €
...

For a 190.000 € car I expect, at least, an air conditioning system...

This car is ridiculously overpriced, but I can understand that.

Anyway, I would take the Boxster S over this, even if this Roding Roadster was less pricey than the Porsche!

Still don't believe its worth 200k.

That's not cheap anyway you look at it, Sure, its got good looks and good performance, But you could get the same and save 160k and get a Boxster S, or a SLK55 AMG, or a GrandSport, a Z4 etc, Or hell you could get the Big Dogs for that money, GT3/ZO6/SLS/Gallardo/R8/ etc, I know a starting company needs money, but I think its overpriced.

And most likely this is without options.

And why in the hell do they spell there company name WITHOUT a Capital R?..

Shaggy  12y ago

That actually looks better, looks like a baby R8.

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

I added some new pictures since there was only one how it really looks like.

User avatar

Shaggy  12y ago

I have to be honest, I wouldn't own one, I don't like the way it looks.

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

@lafars
Correct, but I guess they will get bankrupt in a few years, though. They simply can not produce and sell enough cars to survive as manufacturer. Gumpert and Artega, for example, had the same problem.

User avatar

lafars  12y ago

not surprising with the price, they need a profit in order to keep producing cars

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

For 200.000 € you can get a Gallardo, F430, ZR1, etc. Maybe even a 458 or a 12C without special features.

Well, I agree, who would buy this? I am sure it can not keep up with them. But if someone really love this car,...

User avatar

BR2+  12y ago

As cool as this car is, I think you would have to be a damned fool to pay 200k for this, you could get a SLS AMG, GT3, ZO6, R8, GT-R, RS5, M5, Viper, Yet one would pick this? lol ..

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

I guess you will be surprised about its price, hold on,... 200.000 €!

@ Fangio Man: We have a Kia plant about 30 miles away.

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

@Shaggy
It is not that close. 101 kilometers by car, 84 kilometers airline.

User avatar

Shaggy  12y ago

@ Fangio Man: Cool, the closest car factory we have to my home is a Kia plant, in Vidalia, I think.

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

This car is built where I live:

In the Oberpfalz! :D

User avatar

Shaggy  12y ago

Impressive performance, and seems to be a proper sports car, it doesn't look too bad, but it doesn't really make my eyeballs jump out of their sockets.

User avatar

Mental  12y ago

Have never heard of this. It a bit reminds me a mini-R8, but IMO, hell, it looks like a disgusting mess!

But technically it's OK. 320 PS per 950 kg is impressive. Manual gearbox. RWD.

But with its design it doesn't seem this company will have a bright future...

User avatar

Super8  12y ago

The front looked like Gumpert Apollo.

User avatar

BR2'  12y ago

Im surprised nobody has added this yet, Its not bad looking, And has a manual(Yes!) The name is WAY to plain though, To speed seems a bit up there though. Not sure bout the 2 tone color scheme though, But it gets my vote.

amazingly this car runs completely in silence...it is in production since nearly a year..
