Ruf isnt a Porsche Tuner, Rufs CAN Tune Porsche, but its a Company foremost, Taking your Porsche for to Ruf for mods, makes it a Tuned Porsche, Buying a Ruf FROM Ruf, Is a Ruf, Big difference.

Not fair to say its just a tuned Porsche but you cant really say it has nothing to do with Porsche either. I understand RUF designed the car but it still has a worked over Porsche engine, body panels and looks like a Porsche.

no has nothing to do with Carrera GT, complete car is a RUF own development and build by RUF

I think the limited top speed shows the purpose of the car, its for acceleration. not many places where you can take a car beyond the 240mph mark. think about the people who are going to buy this beast.

Well, if it would be faster, it would accelerate slower.
They had to make a lower top speed for better acceleration, so it's not restricted. It's just good engeneer thinking for a better acceleration.
