You may want to add the times for the B5.5 Passat 1.8T with Tiptronic transmission.
0-60 is 7.6, 1/4 mile is 16.1 @89mph. Here\'s the Car and Driver Test Results.

I don\'t have a source for the Manual Transmission.
If I remember correctly, the B5.5 Passat 1.8T Manual Transmission, it was 7.5 0-60, and 15.7 1/4 mile @ 90 MPH.
