im still surprised how the atom was 1.7 seconds quicker then the veyron even though it has 700 less horsepower

you've got a point, the atom produces 863 hp per tonne and the veyron produces 594 hp per tonne

Very heavy but surprisingly well handling. And sometimes weight and 4 wheel drive does wonders. Look at Nissan GT-R as example. Or look at the wet handling track result lol

Put it around a track. Atom would thrash it. Veyron is very heavy

I would never have thought about comparing these 2 cars, but I do see the reason to do so.

lost it all on the wet handling. The Atom has too much power and too little grip in the wet. Plus those tires are like zero grip when cold.

Ariel Atom V8 will easily run low 10s if the driver knows what he's doing. If the Atom can get to 60 before the Veyron, then it certainly can get to 100mph before it too because of the extra power to weight and the fact that grip is no longer a factor
