There is very little interesting in an old W124 Mercedes. But I don't like them because they are interesting, that's for sure.
And there is no place in the World where roads could be full of 500Es because they were limited production and very exclusive (partly made by Porsche btw)

I would definitely go for the 500E.
E420 is a little bit more modern W124 and definitely more practical but after all it's just another regular W124 model. 500E on the other hand is a legend. A collectors car. And it kicks ass in performance department as well.
