I've owned both of these cars and they are very different beasts. Look at the data - the 63 is more powerful, more torque, weighs less and has a much better gearbox than the ropy SMGIII in the M5. I've owned both of these cars and both are superb, but the 63 is an easier car to live with everyday (i had far less faults with that than the M5.)

I agree, if you want to gauge a super car on a straight line, you might as well pair them up against American muscle cars that worthless on the track. So in other words so are Mercs, useless!!!! Go measure a Merc against a Mustang or Corvette then! Crap!!!! BMW is truly the ultimate driving machine and the most powerful letter in the world is????? ///M

Did I say something about M cars? I said old BMWs are owned exclusively by young hooligans. Which is absolutely obvious if you have ever been in any post-soviet country.

The E36s(M3) , E34s(M5) and E30s(M3) are strong and noble yes.These three cars are both very old.And if you tell others they are BMW owners and fanboys , so i ask you a question

The mercedes E63 amg is only good in roads and for long trips...the M5 will crush it in speeds and acceleration...don't get me wrong the V8 is very nice but the V10 sound is so much nicer!

mercedes e 63 amg is culture of finishing the last if you're lucky.And if you're not, flying off the road and then being transferred right to the morgue.
