Who really cares what tarmac is used, as long as the care is really stock, shouldnt matter, not every tarmac is the same, the tarmac in The UK isnt the same as ones in the US(And i can Vouche for that), or Russian tarmac vs Italian, all that could make a .1s to x differnce in the quality and type used, so its really pointless to say something like "Normal" tarmac vs that kind vs drag strip vs race track etc etc.

Like to see the M5 post those straight line/ lap times in normal day to day weather by normal drivers. Similar 4WD cars, eg Audi RS6, will easily beat it then... BMW love perfect "lab" conditions.

Errr, considering that even wheelbase is diferent to regular 5 series, I think my number is right.

What do you think, if a new Audi S8 has 520 hp, and it acceleration 0-100kph 4.2 seconds, and the new RS6 will comes, it will have at least 580-600hp. And the S8 is heavier than a new Audi S6 Avant. And The RS6 is much lighter than the S6 Avant. Power to weight ratio will be perfect in the Audi RS6, what comes earlier than RS6 Sedan.

BMW M5 have just 20% parts from regular 5 series, 80% parts are M spec. Nor is the 535i M5, nor is A6 3.0 tfsi RS6.

Also A6 TDI beats 530d, same sytuation... New A6 base drive like on rails, better than oversteer 5 series.

A6 30. TFSI kills 535i on the track and on the straight line, so this is a foretaste of the new RS6.

Yeah right... S6 just has better acceleration from 0 to about 50 kph. Later on, it just isn't fair comparison.
Can't wait for some track results for S6 (with well-known Audi understeering all over the place) and then we'll see how really close is S6 to F10M.

As soon as new RS6 hit the streets, I'm gonna compare F10M to him. But he is still in development fase, and we don't know how much hp is gonna have. RS6 always needed some 60+hp advantage to beat an M5. But I doubt it will have 600-620ps this time.

the e60 chassis compete whit C6 chassis.
all the derivates from this chassis, are competing together.
the f10 chassis is competing with C7 chassis.
all in one, all the cars which are producing in the same time are competing together.
the rs6 c6 was discontinued in 2010. this car was never produced in paralel with the m5 f10 to say that the best product from audi is compeating with the best product from bmw.
is no need to be stupid.
the rs6 c7 will hit the market later this year and will be the only competitor from the audi.

No, I'm gonna compare RS6 C6 to M5 e34 just to make you happy. M5 E60 was released 2005., RS6 C6 2008., M5 F10. 2011. So why don't compare F10M to RS6 C6??? RS6 stil has advantage in terms of power, but F10M is just better. If a C7 RS6 has less than 600ps he will still have his ass kicked by M5 F10.
