The vette bested the Lambo on the track despite costing a fraction of the Lambo, and its straight line performances are somewhat similar. The Vette takes this one for me, even if the Murcielago looks hotter

Both are beautiful machines and represent their era so well. Reminds me of the good old days when I would be playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.

LOL the C6 ZR1 is pathetic. 3 entire seconds slower to 300 k m h than a Murcielago SV while being lighter, having more torque and less downforce than SV! On-paper stats mean nothing then!!

This Result was Very Unexpected

I'm so pissed that there still is no proper comparison of these two on any race track. I'm still rooting for the SV. Still love it.

Agreed. But just an exotic type of person :P

User avatar

BR2,  13y ago

They do have similiar performance, and both look absolutely wonderfull

User avatar

lamboboy  13y ago

Well it can be just as fast if not faster. Both have very similar performance.

...With a Name like that, we all know which one you would pick..Im pretty much the opposite, I can afford a ZR1, but i would not pick one simply because i do not need it, and the Price here has gon up Substantially, But SuperVeloce isnt faster..

Seeing how i cannot afford either of these cars, price doesnt really matter to me. So i pick the Lamborghini everytime between these two. It look way better, it sounds better( in my opinion ofcourse), and it can be just as fast as the ZR1 on any track if not faster. And i just love the Murcielago anyway.

I think that was in the same show though?

I think the Murcielago and Zonda got reruns. I can't think of any other cars.

I dont think theyve ever retested a car in perfect conditions if it has ben a wet or damp lap. but i would love if they did, there are about 30 or so cars with wet and damp laps.

User avatar

supercharged  15y ago

that is true why dont they just retest that vette to see what it can really do.

User avatar

vette  15y ago

yes it is

in hockenheim they are equali fast but in all the others corvette is much faster (corvette was in top gear on a rainy day and the time is not what it can do:)

User avatar

@H, Why don't you just take yours to the strip and find out
