Everyone knows the problem...

we know that the huge differents like Northloop factoryclaim vs independent tested and wet vs dry lap gave one or the other car a huge ammount of points and sometimes make the verdict pointless...

We all can read and seeing that a car is quicker at all numbers excluding one wet lap test we know which one is quicker...

best solution would be to delet the verdict in the car vs car compare..

we had a "exclude wetlaps" features on the old site style. if you click it then whenever the compare tool find a (wet damp) lap for eather car it just ignore the track..

my suggestion would be the opposite of this just ignore all wet/damp laps unless user clicks include wetlaps

wet laps are most of the time wrong and unstable they just mess thing up..

@Jeff B: excellent example to show why the calculation method is flawed... 991 Carrera S beats the R8 everywhere except on one lap on wet tarmac and the whole verdict becomes a joke..

Hard to come up with something that will calculate more fairly i aknowledge that, but surely it should be possible?
Off the top of my head:
Only count where both cars have values in straightline, count faster laps, then add points for time won as a percentage of the laptime of the fastest car.
Something like that?

@Dustin
It's the way it calculates points. The R8 beat the 911S by 17 seconds on the wet handling test, and therefore gained a ludicrous amount of points. The 991 was so much slower because of its semi-slicks. Obviously the 991 is a faster car, its just that one track that screwed things up.

Im having hard time with understanding why the R8 is "noticeably faster" when it looses to the 991S in every area listed above.
