M3 has higher straight line speed than the M5? I’ve been in both and I can say the M5 is a fair bit quicker on the straights.

Scoring is broken. Look at the actual performance data - it verifies what you are saying. And should be of no surprise. 500 vs 400+ horsepower. Weight difference becomes less meaningful as speeds increase.

Removed that 3.9 0-60 mph time. It was Car & Driver, but without proper reference and it was heavily messed up with rollout (I believe).
