Sport Auto figures for both cars. Autobild is much quicker. 4.1,8.5 and 12.9 to 100,160 and 200 for the Vanquish S vs 4.3,8.9 and 13.8 for the Giulia. Car and Driver got 3.6 to 60 for the regular Vanquish. Occasionally they get quick figures but Sport Autos stringent test requirements leave them behind most magazines.It seem most magazines are waiting for the Next Gen Vanquish rather than test the S. Even the figures used are not far apart in speed.

Just comparing results from the same magazine. Uwe Sener did both tests.The cars aren't apples to apples but I was talking about the tests. The regular Vanquish was tested by Car and Driver -guys who get fast times. In terms of the manual you have to be pretty bad with a manual to get a 4.7 and 14 0-100 and 0-200 in a QV Giulia.I did compare it to a V12s to show how suspicious factory laps on the Ring can be when two cars that are otherwise neck and neck are twenty seconds apart at the Nurburgring.One lap by Sport Auto the Alfa lap by the "factory".
