As much as Ferrari HATES the Nurburgring, I am 100% SURE that the 488P would beat the Corvette ZR1 (standard low-wing model) and the non-Weissach 991 GT3 RS on that track with an identical driver under equal conditions. Although a magazine got 7:00 flat, I got 7:04 which is still very close. It would beat the Huracan Performante and GT2 RS if it had a big wing like those two cars.

GTB: ((20600m/(300km/h/((141m*(5.19/1.13))x0.3048m))x(1586kg/695hp)/1.13g)x0.0095x0.35 = 7:19

Pista: ((20600m/(300km/h/((146m*(4.93/1.15))x0.3048m))x(1542kg/712hp)/1.15g)x0.0095x0.375 = 7:04

"Only" 15 seconds apart? That's actually a HUGE difference, especially when the Pista IS NOT wearing a Lambo/Porsche-style WING!!!

Anyways, 992 hp is the GTB's maximum potential (not stock, of course), while 949 hp is the Pista's; unfortunately, the GTB might do better than the Pista if it weighed the same as the Pista.

It's a shame, I mean in not particularly a massive Ferrari man, SF90 excepted currently, it's a shame these two, or the car that replaced them never really get talked about.

The 488 gtb has been rated at 690 bhp by magazines doing dyno so hopefully Pista is really at 730-740 bhp. I will be surprised if it matches 720 s in acceleration. Comes down to the drag coefficient ultimately. 458 Speciale was barely quicker due to high drag and only 6% power increase vs 8% for Pista. 250-400 k supercar wars are crazy.

The 488 engine was already underrated. That's why I am calling this Pista engine "the mother of all V8TTs".

Koenigsegg I struggle to call "production car". It is very low volume - Ferrari will build 100x more of their V8s than Koenigsegg.
