The R33 is the fastest, not the R34. It's ironic that the R34 is the most overrated Skyline, and the most underrated, the R33 is the fastest. The R33 is the best Skyline all-around, considering it's better on the racetrack than the R32 & R34 (8:22 and 8:28 vs 8:01), and is safer in a crash then the R32 (you won't have a steering collumn imbedded in your abdomen). The R32 is the coolest considering that it's a homologation special and it's the original Godzilla, but it isn't as fast on track as the improved R33, but it is faster than the pig that is the R34.

Nissan has never really stated an official time of the BNR34 on the Nurburgring, which completely makes your Nurburgring point rather invalid, no, the BNR34 still is the fastest due to it being the evolution of the BCNR33, we don't see many BCNR33 being used or are becoming highly applauded cars, while BNR34 has MCR BNR34 which wins the Touge Maou title, Mine's BNR34, Signal Auto maziora BNR34, and such, and the simple fact that most, if not, all GT500 racers at that time switches from a BCNR33 to a BNR34 in order to stay competitive... that's that, and we haven't talked about technical specifications and such
