Um why is Ferrari rated as the faster car when it loses on track and is equal in straight line?

Rotfl....599 was the best GT car in its time. And it is one of the best modern Ferrari. And it is a way more comfortable, easier to drive than Murci etc..
Ur post is so absurd that mayby you are just trolling ?

murcialago isnt a supersports car.
its actually really comfortable.
the 599 was kind of a failure, the 599 gto sounds and looks good, but basemodel does neither

@Iggz Lambo should be faster on tracks...Gallardo is a hardcore supersport car while 599 is a super GT car that is way more comfortable, luxurious and easier to drive than Gallardo.

@ddd: Are you talking to me? Hei, are you talking to me? Please, back to the clinic, and take your daily Roipnol dose.

It's clearly faster Lamborghini. I don't think Ferrari may be declared winner of the match, notwithstanding what's written here.

Yes, I implied both were ringers, and one only needs to look at this to understand it:

I was researching a bit the tests of this two and found some interesting things but first: Both claim 0-200 in 11s with Ferrari claiming the 0-100 in 3.7 and Lambo in 3.4.
I found 7 tests for the LP640:
*1 was slow with 12s to 200 and a 100-200 over 8s;
*5 got low 11s to 200 and 100-200 of 7.6 +-0.2s, 7.6 being what Lamborghini claimed and I found that pretty neat
*However the last one, from 4R and the source of the stats here, got my attention. 100-200 in 7 flat and 0-200 in 10.2...
How curious, that's as fast as the fastest test of the SV...
Now on to the 599; 6 tests:
*3 of those got to 200 in the low 11s, one was a bit below 11s but it also had a better launch than claimed, so this 4 had a 100-200 of 7.35 +-0.15, 7.3 being the claimed acceleration.
The last two, like in the Lambos case, seemed out of place, from AMS and 4R (I believe it is the same test car) with the AMS one being the source of most of the stats here. And now the interesting part. 0-200 in 10.3, 100-200 in 6.8...
