In addition to what Hans said, the R8 GT also has some aerodynamic tweaks(front splitter, fixed wing out back)and, perhaps most importantly for track performance, rides on Pirelli PZero Corsa R-Compound tires as standard equipment.

The 1/2-mile trap speed for the R8 GT looks weirdly high, 22mph higher than for the R8 V10 Plus...
151mph is more accurate?
