The 2005 was made during the time when top speed and acceleration were still some important factors. The 2017 is built to break records (on race tracks). Some may argue that the new Ford GT is slow compared to competitors and the old GT (130.5 mph in 10.8 s vs. 131.2 mph in 11.2 s) in the 1/4-mile, with its 100-130 time being much slower even with the dual clutch but it's almost as fast as the NEW Corvette C7 ZR1 on the VIR. :)))
GREAT JOB FORD
