And i thought the 2010 Cobalt SS Interior was nice, i couldnt complain,(But again im not picky on Interior wow factor at any level)

And would the Cobalt count as a Typical Economy Car?...

At those prices I dont expect anything but the typical economy car interior ; )

@Monkey The Renault Megane Coupe 265 RS Cup, Fully Built is £31,900, The Focus RS500, when available, Fully Built was £37,210, The Chevrolet Cobalt SS, Fully Built was £21,450 when offered.

So it is cheaper than both by £11,450(Megane), and £15,760(Focus) The Non 500 model started at £25,600, without options, but with i believe it went past 30k(I think)I thought the price of the RS500 was a bit of CodSwallop thougn over then non 500.

There was also one i forgot, the VolksWagen Scirocco R, Fully built its £38,445, (£16,995) Difference.

So yes, the Cobalt is the Best value in Money, or is it? The Cobalt is one of the US cars that didnt get a big Import tax in price like the Corvettes did when sold here.

Best Fwd cars IMO, Extremely hard to choose. But at those prices...I can find something better form me.

I think the cobalt is by far the best value.. its what.. half the price of the RS500?

Not sure what the Renault sells for.

Still dont know how GM packages the cobalt SS with so many features for such a low price. $24k and you get LSD, brembo brakes, no lift shifting, launch control, ect, ect. Heck thats the price of most "normal" cars.

Id take this Focus RS500 over Any Fwd car at the moment, However! There are 2 that come close. The Renault Megane RS ClubSport, and the Chevrolet Cobalt SS, Both great cars, but the Fords got it in the bag, which is faster, is irrelevent to me.

Yes, it is noticeably faster. Just because the 265 posted a faster time at one track doesn't mean squat. Could have been any number of factors responsible for that.. different dirvers, conditions, ect.

The RS500 accelerates a considerable amount quicker.. 2.4 seconds faster to 100 and half a second faster to 60 is nothing to scoff at.

And it gets 35mpg, not 20 as you assume.

Noticeably faster? On the track it apparently is NOT. And all that horsepower with consumption in the low 20 mpg I bet. Can the Ford beat the Nurburgring FWD Record set by this Renault?
