Condor Man* You are a lucky guy. Love your garage, and agree at a 100% with your comment.
I´ve owned a BMW M3 e92, and i liked it.... but it´s soul less... It doesn't have the passion and the feel of the porsche, and neither the sound and the madness of the Merc.
The engine on that merc is one of the all time greatest!

Considering that I own a GT3 RS.2 and a C63 I can honestly say that I would prefer both cars over the M3 based on the simple fact that they both have a soul!!

The C63 AMG coupe was more of a Camaro SS 1LE competitor (at the time) than a true M3 competitor in my opinion. It does have really good driving dynamics relative to the live-axle Mustang GT Performance Pack and Shelby GT500, though. The CLK63 AMG just wasn't a direct competitor with the M3 (more on par with M6 than M3). As far as spec sheets go, aside from curb weight, the M3 is more comparable with the 911, and this is especially true with GTS vs. GT3 RS. The C63 AMG Black Series is more on par with Camaro ZL1 or Z/28, + the Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca.

yeah true, was over exaggerating it, but u have to admit it is an impressive change especially as the normal c63 would never match a normal m3
