Couple things, 1. Now every car has to have th exact same tire compound and size to be comparable? Its SOOOO much more then just a tire, Maybe you should write to the magazines and only tell them to compare cars with the exact tire compound and size lol, 2, I used 245s not 235, As to which i though it had, there arent any made specifically 235s, but there are 245 made in MPSC2 format, Since the Speciale use them, Put those tires on it it would work just fine, Go crazy?...lol Even you dont understand what you wrote, But let me guess, You have to be an expert in tyres to own a car?

And wtf is wrong with you people, Comparing performance cars is MUCH more then a simple tyre compound, But you are saying that every car has to be the same in everything before they are compared, Yet not a single comparison of any cars are like that, Everytime certain cars get beaten or lose in some way, You people always have to use the 2011 tyre excuse, You know the excuse people have been using since ONLY the Corvette used the same tyre as its competition, And yet when it was being compared to cars with SS tyres nobody said shite? That excuse, Everyone here knows tyres can make a difference, Everyone, But there not the end all to be all, Theres power/torque, WHat its made for, Weight, Aero, Price, Drivetrain etc etc, The list goes on

Ok lets go again!!!The 458 oem tire size is 235/35/20-295/35/20.(michelin supersport)The 458 speciale size is 245/35/20-305/30/20(michelin cup2).Ok?????This tire size for 458 ITALIA in cup2 does NOT EXIST!!!!!Now if YOU put the 458 speciale tire size in a 458 italia the E Diff and F1 trac system will not work and car goes crazy!!!But what i first wrote it was that if you want to compare 2 cars put them the same tire!!!!!Tire makes the different!!!If You have a CAR you maybe understand what i wrote!!!!But i guess you have only a skateboard!!!!????????????

Lol MPSC2s come in sizes from 205 to 345 19x20, This uses 245x295 front and rear tyres MPSS, Not too mention the Speciale uses them in 305 rears, Trofeos too, A simple search would show you they are available in a multitude of sizes, But regardless of what you think about my driving ability and car, YOU might want to think before you write, Dumb ass.

Are you just stupid?.....Like, I dont even no anymore...

Everyone forgot something.....the tires!!!!if you put PIRELLIS TROFEO R in 458( because cup 2 havent the tire sizes for 458) you see different time laps......

Now as i look at this...
997 GT3 would lose any comparasion with 458.
991 GT3 is big step foward, and it is just a draw with that Ferrari.
But Ferrari isnt standing in one place, Speciale is already ahead of the top Porsche.
And Italian company will keep its lead beceause 458 T is coming in the next few moths

@hamcee

1- There are 2 things that we must to separate - A) Logical facts like 2+2=4 B) Sensations, opinions.
2- In which point You have proven anything? To prove a thing You need a source. You just said an opinion just like i did.
3- Subiective opinion cannot be proven wrong - its just wrong with the logic. If i feel that 458 iterior looks to me more aggesive this is a fact - beceaause its my interpretation of something very subiective
4- 458 is the car with the stiffest suspension from all Ferrari range. It have only a "bump road mode" and its still petty stiff - its very sporty. Its almost as sporty as You can make a car that is not only fo track.
5-The luxurious - i dont know why You bring this subiect beceause i didnt talk about luxurious.. lol, i dont care.
6- 991 GT3 is much more comfortable than 997 GT3. And 997GT3 is just slighty less comfotable than 458. Im talking about ride quality, im not talking about interior quality.
7- I was talking about interior styling, not about luxuries and such a thing.
8- What is your problem?

User avatar

Hamcee  11y ago

@piorun, it doesnt matter what your "subjective opinion" is. its not an opinions if it has been proven wrong.

u just make false assumptions.

its fact that the 458 is the more comfortable and luxurious ride regardless of your opinion or not and that bothers me with you.

@saxy, im aware that the gt3 is faster. i wanted to refer to the > The Italia is much more exciting in every way tho

whats leads you to the fact that the 458 is more exciting if u havent driven both? how can u judge that?

User avatar

saxy  11y ago

and you can judge that because you have driven both right?

because professionals have driven both, and the GT3 is way faster than the 12C in the corners and IS faster than the 458 in the 2 tracks above. I haven't driven the porsche but i've experienced the 458. Everyone knows the 458 is more flamboyant and the GT3 is an engineering clinic.

User avatar

Piorun  11y ago

You would be both right, if we would talk about 997 GT3 RS version.

991 is much more comfortable than its predecessor.
The case is similar with all 991 compared to 997.

Ferrari have wide range of road cars: F12, FF, California - they are all pretty soft.

458 is the most track oriented from them all.
As to sound, exterior, interior - this is my subiective opinion.

@Hamcee
I thing You getting iritated by my posts beceause of my opinions where You want to finda "a war" where one car is better than another. Try to think in category one car is diffrent than another, or it gives diffrens sensations for diffrent people, not one sensation for all people. Not - one car gives the same sensation to all people or si better/worse - this is just wrong.

User avatar

Hamcee  11y ago

and again, piorun with his "opinion" just being wrong.

the 458 has an extremley civilized interior and can be driven really comfortably. even the seats are another league

the gt3, still being good as a dailydriver, is more extreme and racing orientated than the 458 italia.

keep ur dumb assumptions for yourself or use your brain before you post.

u really bother me with these...
if u want to post, do some research.

User avatar

dddd  11y ago

Normal 458 is a very easy to drive car. And is more comfortable.

Not saying about the interior. Even the 458 Speciale has more luxurious and more comfortable interior than Gt3.

Gt3 is a realy good machine but it is more hardcore car than 458.

User avatar

Piorun  11y ago

Now i think 991 GT3 speeks to me better. Its just my personal subiective opinion ofcourse.

458 its overaggresive, its like mad ceature. Its in evry aspect of it - engine, sound, exterior and interior.

GT3 seems to be more delicate, even its the most sport oriented 991. So hard to find something more racing oriente from Porsche.
But, it sounds nicer to my ears, it looks better, even i think 996 and 997 looks horrible. 991 except the GT3 look just average.

Here the spoiler make a huge difrence. Interior, - all that thing seems to be more civilized, nicer, "human oriented".

Its also drives little less aggresive its more clinical.
I like it.

User avatar

Hamcee  11y ago

and you can judge that because you have driven both right?

User avatar

saxy  11y ago

around a track, stock vs stock. I would bet the GT3 is faster. The Italia is much more exciting in every way tho
