The F430 is a purist car,no hardcore performance track car made like a GT-R and Scuderia. For the Pirelli P Zero isn´t present in all lap times.4WD it´s a advantage yes,and the turbos too,or you never see about TORQUE ? Ok GT-R have more weight it´s a fact and have more eletronic too. And finally, the V-SPec showed that is it a simple desing package and their peformance in some cases even worse than the original.

The GT-R is the faster car in just about everyway, The 430 has bete tyres, Pirelli P Zero vs Dunlop SportMaxx, So no, the GT-R has 4wd, but dont use Turbos and Displacement as an excuse for a win or anything of the sort, and it does have beter Aero ad more tech then a Mac, F430 has 601Lbs weight difference, So the GT-R soundly wins on a track and in acceleration, Only from a Dig would the Ferrari pull away, other then that, forget about it.

And the Scuderia is faster....but then you have the SpecV to contend with....

Mr. Valmont; the F430 isn´t more aerodynamic than GT-R. And the GT-R had better tires, 4WD, Two turbos,all eletronic helps in your favor. And if you put GT-R between a 430 Scuderia the battle has another result

You're right, the 430 wins the first GT-R in one small and useless medition. It is much better, then!!

@Jeff B: its fast because of the whole package. Great power and torque, fast gearbox with really short gearing, good weight distribution, good aerodynamics, very advanced 4wd and excellent optimized settings to utilize the tyres to the max... a really excellently developed car.

The GT-R is only faster because of its amazing launch control system that makes it accelerate like its been shot out of a cannon and its AWD system that allows it to corner with perfect control at low amd high speeds. The GT-R on paper shouldn't be any faster than a C63 AMG BS but it is miles faster because of these things.

GTR has faster dual clutch transmission, greater engine torque, lower cD, on the negative, it has greater weight, larger frontal area, less HP.

the ratio of power / weight of F430 is greater than the GTR, and F430 more aerodynamic

the cost is obvious they use non luxury car components from the others nissan V6 like Skyline, and the engine is a cutdown V6 from Pathfinder 4.0 or an improvement of the 3.7 of the Skyline version in Infiniti. anyway. even the car body is clearly a skyline and infiniti shape. so... if you think a litle bit you surelly came with the modded car idea. extremly modded thats for sure. but a modded car, isnt special.. isnt great. its a custom car... anyone can take a 911 and turbocharge it to the limit. and make some changes in gear to make is fast in the 0-62, and quarter mile times. and make an effort to take it to 190 mph.

the only way the gr is gonna cost $100,00 s with a dealer markup, so its actual list price is $80,000.

What a phenom this car is and as soon as i can, i am buying one as this car is magic and for $100,000 there will never be another bargain like this besides the vette.

the low times in the track are because the turbo is placed in gtr from driving short distances and stop and driving short distances braking and go... this is, the turbo is for acceleration and get to like 200 kph or 120 mhp as fast as the engine can do with that weight and power. because in high speed driving easily a non turbo V8 can take it down.
