Okay, this is an interesting comparison that I felt compelled to do since probably no one else was going to do it. Yes of course I would rather have the Audi. Yes, other courses may have different results, I know this is unfair, but isn't it interesting. Several years ago, I would never have predicted that a front heavy, live axle, rear drive car would get a better lap time than a similarly powerful (weight is similar as well) all wheel drive independantly suspended mid engine semi-exotic sports car. Rather amazing job by Ford.
